The ETC IMAGE BANK is a collection of original photos on various interests relevant to the promotion of the ETC cause. These photos may be used at no cost provided that it is utilized for noncommercial and nonprofit purposes. For publication purposes in any media, proper acknowledgment must be given to the photographer and Earth Tribe Council and it will be greatly appreciated that we are notified of such use so we can know how the image bank will help you and others in any way it could.

The ETC ONLINE LIBRARY is a small effort to collate information on cultural development, environmental awareness, indigenous peoples, responsible tourism, self-empowerment and relevant studies in the promotion of human rights.

The EARTH TRIBE COUNCIL was conceived in 2002 in the Philippines with the vision of communities coexisting in solidarity for a sustainable planet. At present, ETC revives its thrust with the present environmental conditions that affect man and man’s inward shift upon a changing world. Earth Tribe Council particularly promotes convergence and synergy in a world culture of diverse color and traditions, believing that man is capable and accountable in the preservation of life and heritage which embody his natural world.

The inner star in the ETC logo represents both the vision and the brilliance brought forth by proactivity, synergy and convergence. The 8 dots encircling the star signify the 8 truths the organization upholds, namely: Knowledge, Purpose, Accountability, Creativity, Solidarity, Empathy, Generosity, and Non-violence.

The quadrant signifies the four key areas of ETC work, namely: Culture, Environment, Peace Practice and Self-empowerment.

The Tribe. ETC is primarily formed by the voluntary efforts of individuals working in the fields of information, journalism, research, photography, film, the academe, media and publications. However recognizing traditional media, ETC aims to explore existing avenues where voice and message may be relayed in unique form, including dance, music and the visual arts. The organization likewise encourages and values youth participation in the effort to give voice to the young generation which rightfully seeks expression in cultural solidarity.
